High Pile

Soft, fluffy and warm underfoot

Wool rug - Isara Border Bruin immediately brings more warmth to your seating area and gives light furniture and natural materials more contrast. The brown colour looks full and earthy, giving the space more depth, while the subtle border detail clearly frames the rug and gives the arrangement more definition.

This wool rug is made from 100% wool and feels full, resilient and comfortable. In the living room you'll notice this every day: wool feels pleasant underfoot, dampens sound and makes the space quieter and more pleasant. The cotton backing supports the rug and helps it lie stably, so the surface remains taut and the border detail remains beautifully visible.

Thanks to the warm brown tone and clear shape, this solid rug fits well in a modern or Japandi interior. Lay it under the sofa and side table to make loose furniture one whole, or partially under the dining table for a clear, calm base.

Wool

Sheep's wool is the basis of this rug, and owes its dirt and moisture repellent properties to lanolin, the wool's own natural grease, which also insulates against the cold and muffles sound better than a hard floor. In the first few weeks the fibre may shed slightly, a normal trait that settles down with regular vacuuming. Because wool rugs are often hand knotted or hand woven, small irregularities and slight size variations are normal.

Vacuum cleaner

You can vacuum the rug with the bristles tucked in. To protect the delicate fibers, we advise against using vacuum cleaners (stick vacuums/robot vacuums), and for flat-woven rugs, to vacuum in the direction of the weave.

Care

Vacuum twice a week with the brush retracted, this also reduces shedding on a new wool rug. Blot a spill immediately with a clean, slightly damp cloth without rubbing, so dirt does not work further into the fibre. Wool dries more slowly than other materials, so avoid getting it too wet. Shake the rug out outside occasionally for a deeper clean between vacuuming.
