The Round Wool Rug – Vienna Pink is a Scandinavian round rug with the soft, natural look you would expect from a Japandi-style rug. The organic, flowing lines in the pattern move gently across the cream-colored surface, enhancing the rug’s friendly, fluid shape. Thanks to its round form, the rug immediately adds softness and balance to the space, as it avoids sharp lines and instead softens corners.

The natural wool feels instantly warm and full underfoot. This pink round rug is hand-tufted from wool and features a low, compact pile that is comfortable to walk on while keeping the surface neat and smooth. Its substantial weight ensures it stays in place, while the recycled cotton backing helps the rug maintain its round shape. Wool has a natural flexibility, preserving its soft, natural character — and combined with underfloor heating, it feels pleasant in every season.

In the living room, under a small round coffee table, or in the bedroom as a soft centerpiece, the Round Wool Rug – Vienna Pink gives any space a calm, harmonious foundation. An organic rug and modern design rug in one — perfect for those seeking simplicity, warmth, and visible quality.

Wool

Sheep's wool is the basis of this rug, and owes its dirt and moisture repellent properties to lanolin, the wool's own natural grease, which also insulates against the cold and muffles sound better than a hard floor. In the first few weeks the fibre may shed slightly, a normal trait that settles down with regular vacuuming. Because wool rugs are often hand knotted or hand woven, small irregularities and slight size variations are normal.

Vacuum cleaner

You can vacuum the rug with the bristles tucked in. To protect the delicate fibers, we advise against using vacuum cleaners (stick vacuums/robot vacuums), and for flat-woven rugs, to vacuum in the direction of the weave.

Care

Vacuum twice a week with the brush retracted, this also reduces shedding on a new wool rug. Blot a spill immediately with a clean, slightly damp cloth without rubbing, so dirt does not work further into the fibre. Wool dries more slowly than other materials, so avoid getting it too wet. Shake the rug out outside occasionally for a deeper clean between vacuuming.

Your rug, made by hand

No two are the same

Small differences in the pattern come with handwork, and make each rug unique.

Row by row

A rug like this is built up by hand, one row at a time, by someone who has done it for years.

Made to stay

A handmade rug is built to be walked on for years, which is why these are the ones that get passed on.
